Birds

In the Park we have many species of birds, to name but a few... Penguins, Ostriches, Flamingos, Cranes, Hornbills, Macaws, Owls, Finches and Toucans.

One of our many enclosures is a 3200 sq metre walk through aviary, where you can discover and watch the habits of over 30 species of birds in a beautiful and natural environment, which includes a large Koi Carp lake.

The outstanding Humboldt Penguin enclosure allows an insight into the playful and interesting behaviours of these loveable birds with its spectacular underwater viewing panels.

Signs throughout the park provide information on their latin name, diet and place of origin. Colourful pictures and maps make it both educational and easy to understand for all age groups.
